After the previous night's events, the brunette had a hard time sleeping and couldn't get her mind thinking straight. Not for the time being anyway. It had been weird finally admiting to her brother what had happened a year ago and his reaction still bothered her even if she tried hard not to think about it. Leaving for school this morning had been a mistake because she had decided to skip; instead made her way down to East Hampton. It was around 9AM and she knew a lot of people wouldn't be at the beach at that time. In fact, most of them were where she was meant to be: at school but the brunette shrugged it off, she didn't care. Not now anyway even if she knew that later, once her siblings found out she was going to be in trouble. If they cared enough and for once, she hoped they wouldn't.

Finding the beach had been rather easy and Lara smiled once she did because she had been slightly afraid if she had gotten lost. Placing her hands in her jean's pockets, Lara made her way down the beach, feeling the sand getting in her shoes and then out and in as she stepped on it. She was nearing the water and she didn't mind and even if there was a slight breeze she still wanted to get in the water and swim. After all, swimming was her passion and she wasn't a professional swimmer for nothing. In fact, there were countless competitions she had won and it made her proud of herself. Lara knew her parents were proud too even if they weren't there most of the time. A sigh escaped her lips and she shook her head, trying to forget about it.

There was a figure, sitting away from her and near the water and Lara raised an eyebrow, wondering who they were. Quickly, she made her way over and towered the unknown person who was still sitting on the sand. Sitting besides them, Lara eyed them carefully with her brown eyes before speaking. "Beautiful, isn't it?" It obviously did not get any better and it was so calm, it was incredibly peaceful. For her anyway. "I'm Lara Rayne. You are?"

The Hamptons were definitely a peaceful place, Lara soon decided as there weren't a lot of people around. In fact, there was barely anyone. Her hazel eyes examined the beach: it was incredibly peaceful and there was a small feeling inside her urging her to run to the water and just dive in; swim around. It was called freedom, something that as a Rayne, it seemed impossible to have. Her mother had been urging her for the past few years to take a Fashion Course and follow her mother's footsteps. It wasn't what Lara wanted however it seemed that the girl was growing with no options. She couldn't make decisions in her life; it bothered her.

Running her hands through the sand, Lara felt someone sit beside her and her attention turned towards them, her hazel eyes examining the person as her fingers felt the sand slip through them. Her heart almost skipped a beat as she noticed it was a boy, a stunning one at that. There was almost a shine in her eyes; a small blush on her cheeks as the boy spoke. Smiling at him, Lara simply nodded, turning back to feel the ocean air pass by her and the water almost touching the ends of her dress.

"You're not from here, are you?" She questioned him, trying her best not to sound curious or to make it obvious that she was interested in him. Clearly, the brunette had made the right choice when she had decided to miss class to spend time in the Hamptons. Clearly, things happened for a reason and this time was good thing. "So, why are you here? Not to be rude but not a lot of people com here, especially in the Autumn." An idea popped onto her mind as she stood to her feet before holding out a hand for him. "Let's go." She montioned to the water, waiting for a reaction from him.

The way the girl looked told him what he needed to know about her, that she was one of those rich girls who spend their time shopping and hanging with her friends talking about fashion and clothes and shoes. I’m from England, but I’m studying at New York University. ‘m on holidays with some friends now. He decided to ask the girl what she was doing there when it was so obvious she should be somewhere else, for example, the school. Shouldn’t you be at school? But as the question left his mouth she extended her hand towards him and motioned for the water. Was she crazy?

Though he had been thinking of getting a bath himself he had discarded the idea, he didn’t a have a towel and he was fully clothed, but then, he was there to have fun and all the party he had yesterday was the best proof of it, so why not having fun with a girl in the beach? After all he had been kind of waiting for someone to make him company and just as if she was his answer she had walked toward him, so taking her hand he stood on his feet and with a sudden move he caught her up and ran to the water. You first. He said throwing her into the water while laughing. The water wasn’t so cold, in fact it was quite warm and he took his shoes off to get inside too, he had got her wet so he will have to do the same, after all he was always a gentleman with the girls. He splashed the water around them and get his head down the water, it was crazy, then they will be cold and wet and he will have to take her to his hotel to change and get warm, but while they were there, they could have fun.
