Anna smiled at yet another customer as she handed him his drink kindly taking the money ignoring the fact that he had been looking down her shirt the whole time he had been ordering. Turning Anna poured herself a glass of red wine, taking a sip she smiled the cold liquid running down her throat tentilizing her urges. Drinking the rest in the glass she turned to refill it noticing the most customers had bought there drink and were sitting at the front read to see the acts on the night, Anna turned back leaning on the bar holding the glass between her middle and fore-finger.
Anna poured another drink for one of the customers watching as acts were boo'ed off the stage, handing the glass to the tall boy she smiled taking the money and placing it in the till. Anna jumped hearing her name "Anna, your on stage next!" Anna turned to see who had spoken and saw one of her co-workers pointing at the stage. Sighing Anna took her guitar case from underneath the bar walking towards the backstage door ready to perform. This was one of the ways Anna got extra money, once evry week she would be a talent act for three minutes to earn fifty dollars a week, it wasnt that bad.
Anna walked up the few steps onto the stage and sat on the stool, bending over she took out her guitar and ajusted it on her lap smiling at the audience, "Hey everybody, I'm Anna and I will be singing for you tonight" A few wolf whistles were heard out of the audience. Anna coughed softly starting to play the guitar she smiled as she began to sing.
I'm an ocean in your bedroom Make you feel warm Make you want to re-assume Now we know it all for sure
I'm a dance hall dirty breakbeat Make the snow fall Up from underneath your feet Not alone, I'll be there Tell me when you want to go
I'm a meth lab first rehab Take it all off And step inside the running cab There's a love that knows the way
I'm the rainbow in your jail cell All the memories of Everything you've ever smelled Not alone, I'll be there Tell me when you want to go
Drifting off the music Anna stopped smiling at the audience as there were claps and whistles, she had done a good job and might even get a few tips tonight plus her fifty doller bonus. Smiling at the crowd she placed her guitar back into its case "Thanks guys" picking up the case she walked off the stage into the back. Earning a few 'well done's' and 'that was awsome' from the people back stage Anna thanked them and walked back to the bar placing her guitar in its hidey hole she took her glass from which she had placed it under the bars desk out of reach and drank the rest of it ready to refill it.
A lot of the customers, mostly guys had moved to stand by the bar and order another drink, most of them wanted to chat up Anna and some made a few deals for later, Anna agreed since she needed the extra money and didnt want to do another favour for her landlord. Even though Anna was gay she was attractive and made money from this to pay her rent, it was an easy buisness but Anna knew how to stand up for herself even though she looked as fragile as glass. Pouring another drink Anna handed it to the customer stopping to take a sip from her glass she turned to a knew customer and smiled, "How can I help you?"

Joe's Pub was probably one of the most popular spots Felix had ever known. Of course, he visited a few bars, clubs, before but none were like Joe's Pub. Something about it seemed unique: the enviornment, the people, and even the smell. Of course it smelled like drunk but the atmosphere's smell was distinct. Felix didn't really go clubbing very often, since it reminded him of his 'hitman days'. He was a little under the drinking age, but he always managed to fake his age. Sometimes he used a fake ID when asked: and it always worked.
As Felix walked into the 'pub', he noticed the numbers were fairly large today. It seemed busier than usual and there was quite a large crowd. At first he wasn't sure what the big deal was: until he heard someone singing. It appeared to be a talent show, and the singer was a girl. A girl who sounded like she was around his age and she had a great voice. However being able to see her was a problem.
Felix pushed through the crowd to get a good look at this 'famous' girl who was singing. "Hey watch it kid!" a fairly drunk man said to Felix. "Sorry.." he said in a low and impatient tone. "Y-you kinda looks like m-my kid." another drunk man said slapping his hand on Felix's shoulder. Felix turned around and glared at the man who gave him a cheesy smile. "Maybe you should watch the amount of alcohol you take in." Felix said as he turned away. "Wha-what he say?" the drunk man said questionably but Felix was gone.
Eventually he reached the front row, where men were cheering and whistling at the girl and there was a reason why. Not only was her singing good, but she was gorgeous. Felix smiled at her, and figured she wasn't much older than him. Her black hair glistened in the light. When she was done, Felix watched her go to the bar to continue serving drinks. Men tried to hang around her to flirt but he didn't mind. He was surprised she was a bartender: he never noticed her before.
Felix then walked over to her bar and smiled. The girl smiled at him and asked "How can I help you?" she asked. Judging from her facial expression Felix could depict many things. Obviously she was used to guys flirting with her, and staring down her shirt. She just figured Felix would be another 'pervy' customer. "Don't worry I'm not going to stare down your shirt." Felix said grinning at the girl. "I guess you get that a lot though?" he asked indicating towards the men who were staring at her.

Anna took another sip from her own glass looking at the boy she placed it back underneath, "Don't worry I'm not going to stare down your shirt." taking in the boys appearence she smiled he was cute but of course Anna wasnt attracted since she was gay but he didnt need to know that. Most of the men had walked off after either making a deal or realizing she didnt care "A non pervy boy in a bar... Hm, thats different" she spoke softly, air escaping her lips slightly. The boy didnt look like the pervy type but she couldnt be sure, he could be an actor there were a lot of actors in new york, many of them man whore junkies who have a different woman every night. It was kind of disgusting about how many idiotic man whores there were in New york, its one of the reasons why Anna was so happy being gay.
Anna smiled giving another pervy customer their drink and recieving their money, it was an okay job being a bartender, she could drink the alcohol as long as she didnt ignore any customers or get drunk, which never happened since for some reason alcohol didnt effect Anna however much she drank. Realizing another bad act was on the stage Anna laughed looking at the distressed adult trying to entertain the crowd but not succeeding. Anna stiffled a laugh as the crowd finally boo'ed the poor guy off.
Anna took out a glass as the boy spoke again "I guess you get that a lot though?" Anna smiled as the boy indicated to the remaining men who were still staring at her, "A lot? More like 24/7" the boy seemed okay and didnt act or look like the type to go out clubbing every night. Scratching her arm Anna turned quickly to another customer but this time it was a woman, Anna smiled as she poured the womans drink and took the money watching as she walked away.
Turning back to the boy she looked at the empty glass she had been holding, "What did you want to order?" Anna was sure the boy hadnt said what he had wanted but she couldnt be completely sure. Cocking her head to the side Anna looked around the bar, the boy was cute so where was his girlfriend? it wasnt realy a question she wanted to ask since it might make the boy think that she was inerested in him. Deciding on a different question that might bring forth the answer of the question she had wanted to ask she spoke "So you dont go clubbing often then?" it was a simple question and the boy was obviously not the party man whore type either that or he was a brilliant actor.

Felix laughed at the girl's remark but he realized that she was probably used to getting pervy customers. He looked around again seeing that the bar was only getting more crowded. More men appeared at her bar asking for drinks but primarily just to get a good look at her. "I guess it is different. But sometimes different is good, right?" he asked winking at her. He smiled his 'charmer's' smile at her.
He couldn't help but flirt with the girl, even if she had a boyfriend. Which brought something to his mind: where was her boyfriend? She was so beautiful, she seemed the type to always have a boyfriend. Of course Felix was single, and broke up with his girlfriend a couple months ago. He still wished he had one but he knew he'd get one eventually. Felix turned to see a man get booed off the stage for his terrible talent, and remorse struck Felix. However he smiled a little since he thought it was pretty funny.
The girl claimed that she recieved pervy customers '24/7' which made Felix laugh again. "I'm sure you have a boyfriend, so you could tell them." he said. He could only assume she was dating, but he couldn't be sure. To Felix's surprise, a woman finally appeared at the bar asking for a drink. "Congrats for your first female customer." Felix said clapping his hands a bit jokingly.
The girl then asked what he wanted, since he hadn't ordered anything. Felix didn't really want anything, but he didn't want to be rude so he ordered a shot. "I'll take a shot of Jack Daniels." he said with a smile at her. She then asked if he went clubbing often, which surprised him. "Nah I'm not really a 'clubber'." he claimed. "When I had a girlfriend, we'd go a few times but that was a while ago. But that was when I had a girlfriend." he added sipping his shot. "The name's Felix by the way. Felix Woods." he said offering his hand smiling.

Anna rested her hand on her hand listening to the boy "I guess it is different. But sometimes different is good, right?" Anna smiled at the boys comment before replying "Different is very good" Anna moved to refilled her glass and inspected the boy further, he was obviously a charmer escpecially with that smile, and it looked like most girls would go crazy over him. The boy was flirting and Anna was happy that he wasnt an old geezer attemting to make another deal with her. Anna turned to another customer for a few moment before turning back to see that he was smiling at the man who had just been booed off the stage.
Anna almost burst out laughing at the boys next comment "I'm sure you have a boyfriend, so you could tell them." Anna decided she would just go along with it instead of pointing out that she was in fact gay "Aw no I dont have a boyfriend" Anna chuckled slightly as she took another sip of the drink, "Congrats for your first female customer." she smiled before she placed the glass on the counter and did a little victorious pose laughing at the fact that she finally had someone non perverted to talk to without worrying that they wanted to either make a deal or just feel her up.
Anna sighed taking another sip of her drink, lucky enough Anna never got drunk so she could go on drinking all night, "I'll take a shot of Jack Daniels" Anna smiled as she turned around bending down into a small cuboard to get a shot glass out she stood up staight again turning back to the boy and placing the shot glass on the bar before bending over and opening a small cabinet revealing many bottles of different tonics, Anna rifled through before finding a bottle of Jack Daniels, smiling she opened the bottle and poured some of it into the shot glass before pushing it foreward to the boy, "Think of it as a celebration drink from the fact that I got a woman customer"
Anna poured some off the Jack daniels into her own glass and watched it mix with the red wine before she placed the bottle under the bar, picking up the glass she moved her hand in circles, the liquid spinning in the glass. Anna smiled taking a drink squeezing her face at the taste but at the same time liking it. Taking another sip she placed the glass back on the counter swallowing, "Nah I'm not really a 'clubber'" Anna smiled, "No offence but I sort of noticed" the boy continued "When I had a girlfriend, we'd go a few times but that was a while ago. But that was when I had a girlfriend." Anna smiled, he was dropping hints, she could tell, Anna smiled, "When you had a girlfriend? So Im understanding you dont have one anymore, Why is that may I ask?" Anna did wonder since they were talking about it, "The name's Felix by the way. Felix Woods." Anna smiled shaking the boys hand "Anna, Anna Cray, nice to meet you" Anna took her hand away taking another sip from her drink.

Felix smiled at the girl when she rested her head on her hand. For some reason, he loved it when girls did that. It just appeared very attractive to him. He wondered if she ever noticed he liked it, but he blushed a little. He then grinned at her next comment. "Good, I'm glad we can agree upon something." he claimed and winked at her. She probably knew that he was flirting with her, since she was used to it.
Felix looked around him to see a few men glaring at him, or giving him an 'evil look'. He smirked a little at them, since he was talking to the hot bartender girl. He could tell many of the grown men were jealous of him since he was a pretty young guy, compared to them. Felix looked back at the girl and smiled seeing that a flash of delight seemed to have sprung from her eyes. She claimed she didn't have a boyfriend, which surprised Felix. Surely any guy would die for her. "Really? Why? if you don't mind me asking." he asked leaning a bit closer.
He couldn't help but look when she searched for the Jack Daniels he requested. The girl didn't seem to take any notice though. But not being a heavy drinker, Felix sipped his shot slowly. It wasn't that he could get drunk easily, but he just didn't favor alcohol too much. "So I presume this drink is free?In celebration of your first woman customer?" he asked with a smile. He assumed she'd say 'no' simply because she was a bartender. Felix placed the shot glass down, seeing that it was half empty.
Felix watched her pour some of the Jack Daniels into her own glass and mixed it. He could assume that she got all of her drinks free, and probably didn't get drunk very often. He grinned when she claimed that she figured he wasn't a clubber. "How could you tell? Is it that obvious?" he asked winking at her and smiling. Then again, she was a bartender, so she had the experience of seeing all kinds of people. Some people you could tell were locals and came to Joe's Pub quite often, but others were a secret. Being a former hitman, Felix could depict locals from outsiders. Her name was Anna Cray, a beautiful name. "Nice to meet you Anna Cray. That's a beautiful name, and fits you very well." he added smiling at her. She seemed a bit surprised as well when he said he didn't have a girlfriend anymore. "Right I don't have a girlfriend anymore, because she had cheated on me." he said sighing and ran his fingers through his hair. He then finished the shot with a swig and shook his head. "But it's all good. I'm just starting a new life." he claimed looking back up at Anna and smiling.
