A lot of breaking hearts here at Newport Beach. This place is fairly small, but it attracts a lot of tourists. Many of the people here are rich, and lucky enough to live down by the water. This is a town where you think you know everyone, but do you really? The people you've watched since you were a baby, and you think you know, you really don't. It seems like everyone has a secret. There's the preacher's daughter who is pregnant. There's that guy you thought would grow up to make something of himself, and just got back from rehab for the third time. And if that weren't enough, there are couples getting together and breaking up, leaving hearts in tatters and tangles. There's the football kings and homecoming queens, just like any other place. And then you've got the locals as well. Most have lived here so long that they don't know any other way of life. A lot of gossip and drama can occur in this sometimes, all too small place.
