boy, you're dangerous
yeah you're that guy i'd be stupid to trust
Russell J. Charleston is 25-years-of-age, male (at least the last time he checked) and is heterosexual, although he has never really had a girlfriend. In terms of asking about his occupation, that is a 'before' or 'after' question. Before he learned of the inheritance from his uncle, he was a struggling grad student earning his PhD in Political Science. Since the inheritance, he has been a mess. Or more politely, he is just not sure what to do now. See, his maternal uncle, Jacob, whom Russell gets his middle-name from, had no children of his own and his older sister (Russell's mother, Anna) has been deceased for about a decade, thus he decided to will everything to his blood nephew, Russell, and 'everything includes the American Limited Fashion and Magazine Outlet, a conglomeration that owns several major national fashion magazines, as well as the parent company (Limited Brands) of such subsidiaries as Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works. I suppose he now, ever since the inheritance, would fall into the Elite category.
but just one night
couldn't be so wrong
you make me wanna lose control
Standing at 5'9" and weighing in 175 lbs., Russell could be described as a youthfully handsome young man. He is in good physical shape--very little fat--but he is not overly muscular (perhaps 'compact' is the best way to describe his physique). His gentle hazel eyes and wavy light brown hair, which he keeps fairly short, seem to complement each other well. His skin is blessedly free of any birthmarks or scars and he absolutely refuses to mar his body with tattoos or piercings--this is purely because he finds such things hideous, not out of some religious compulsion or anything. He looks a lot like One Tree Hill's James Lafferty, although Russell has never seen the show.
she got away with
the boys in the place
treat 'em like they don't have a chance
Russell likes reading, playing Chess, huggling his myriad of Pokemon stuffed animals, watching classic movies and TV shows, good food and good alcohol (always in moderation of course), playing video games, playing paintball, learning new things, listening to jazz, classical and golden oldies rock music, hanging out with his friends and traveling--not necessarily in that order. He dislikes stupidity, drunkenness, feeling like a worthless loser (he still has self-esteem issues despite the recent inheritance), rap music, jerks, forgetting things (he usually has a good memory), running late, getting sick, enclosed spaces (calustrophobia), severe weather, feeling lonely, a lot of modern movies and TV shows, disorganization, being taken advantage of, overuse of profanity--again, not necessarily in this order. His strengths are that he is very intelligent (at least in terms of book knowledge), is basically a decent guy (some might see this as a weakness) and he is a good public speaker. His weaknesses are that he is quite naive, he suffers from low self-esteem and has serious trouble on the female front.
& he got away with
the girls in the place
actin' like they're too hot to dance
Russel is claustrophobic, fears having nightmares (this causes him some insomnia problems) and worries about being alone for the rest of his life. His dreams and goals...well, that's a hard question for him to answer with all the confusion and change caused by his recent inheritance. Right now, he just wants to settle in a bit and get used to everything. His secrets are fairly benign and not that secretive: he is still a virgin and has never actually been on a proper date (although he has had friends of the female sex, but they were merely friends). Russell is an intelligent, kind, naive, humble, slightly nerdy/geeky, often-down-on-himself young man.
i know your type
you're daddy's little girl
just take a bite let me shake up your world
I was born and raised in Kissimmee, FL. My father, Anthony, was a real estate broker and my mother, Anna, was a registered nurse and I am an only child. The first decade or so of my childhood was fairly good, with my parents doing their best to be their for me and to provide for me--we were a fairly typical middle-class family. Unfortunately, my mother would succumb to a genetic proclivity for depreission and this led to her drinking to excess--I never understood it, she suffered from depression, yet when she drank, theoretically to allieviate this symptoms, it only made her more depressed--and she would end up dying when I was only 12 years old. I think I internalized this and, combined with being a bit of a social outcast in school, led to my continued issues with low self-esteem. Despite all this, I did excel academically in high school and ended up earning a full-scholarship to the University of Central Florida in Orlando, double-majoring in History and Political Science. It should be noted that during my undergraduate years, my father would pass away due to a heart attack. Although it definitely affected me, I was sort of numbed by the loss of a mother at so young an age and I just buried myself more and more in my schoolwork. After finishing my ungraduate degree (I earned it with high honors), I was not totally sure what I wanted to do, so I just continued on, earning my Masters in Political Science (I enjoy the subject) and starting on my Doctorate. It would all interrupted by the untimely death of my wealthy uncle and learning that I stood to inherit his wealth. Heck, I barely knew him, meeting him only a handful of times during my entire life. He lived in New York and my mother and he were not terribly close, although he did attend her funeral at least. Now, I am having to go up to New York to sort all this out and I am just not sure what happens next, eh?
