- - - - Walking down the street, with her guitar bag on her back, she wondered helplessly with a notebook in her hand. Gently she tapped her face with the pencil she had in her hand. The young women was practically dawdling through the city center, trying to gain ideas for a song she could write about her experience in New York before she graduated next year. Her dirty blond hair was tied in a messy bun, and she didn't look to stunning today either. Mimi was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a black and white jumper, a gray cardigan, and a pair of converses. The streets were defiantly crowded. Although Mimi has no trouble working through the crowds of people. Looking around she decided to go into the borders, to get some peace and a coffee before she started moving again. Walking down the street, she avoided bumping shoulders with people and managed to get outside the borders.
Pushing the door open she found quite a few people sat inside the borders. Before she did anything, she went into the cafe and ordered herself a coffee and went and sat down. Placing her coffee down she put her small bag on the table and put her guitar next to the chair. Looking through her bag she pulled out her phone and text her brother, telling him she'd see him later tonight after her sad adventure. She took a sip of her drink and took her guitar out and balanced it on her lap. She began to strum away before singing the lyrics to a song she knew and loved. "I wanna be a billionaire so fricking bad buy all of the things I never had, uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine, smiling next to Oprah and the Queen." Mimi loved singing, but she stopped to get a drink of her coffee. words; 314. status; done done doneee. who's involved?; leon park. muse; music channel. what she's wearing; well, this right here!? notes; happyy'christmas eveee (: <3 credits; charley made this from ON THE L I S T !? so don't try and steal or remove credit. lyrics from the script; walk away.

stop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective Oh how Leon hated his job. Sure it had its rare advantages; getting to read the inventory for free during his break, employees discount on coffee, but the negative out weighed the good. First off was the terrible uniform. The shirt looked like a bowling tee and the fabric felt cheap. Whatever, it (barely) paid for his rent. Second was the horrifyingly low salary at thirteen dollars an hour. Well, at least I have a job for someone with hardly any past work experience. Last was the fact that it was so time consuming. He'd much rather be out with his friends. Obviously.
"Fifty-five, ninety nine" Leon said with a small, charming, but completely fake smile plastered on his otherwise tired and bored face. He envied this lady. He'd never be able to spend that much on reading material all at once. If he did, next thing he knew he'd be kicked out of his apartment by his greedy landlord. Leon glanced at what seemed like the hundredth time at his beat up watch. WHAT? I WENT THIRTEEN MINUTES INTO MY LUNCH BREAK BY WORKING? Shit. Where's Matt then? With a frustrated sigh, he reached under the counter for his tiny closed sign and placed it in front of the cash register. The other employees would cover for him. It wasn't his shift anyway.
Leon headed over to the cafe, reaching into his pocket for a crumpled ten dollar bill. "One large Americano please" Leon said to the cashier. "Sure" She answered. In an American accent. Sometimes Leon felt as if he stuck out like a sore thumb in NYC with his English way of speaking. Well, he was still proud of it though. It was the one thing that had sort of helped him blend in during his high school years after all. Gripping his cardboard cup full of caffeine Leon stuffed his change into his pocket. There weren't any empty tables. And it also sort of depressed him seeing how many loving couples there were in the cafe. He considered just standing at the back, but crossed that option out immediately. He would look absolutely retarded.
"I wanna be a billionaire so fricking bad buy all of the things I never had, uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine, smiling next to Oprah and the Queen." Leon turned to see a pretty girl strumming away on her guitar. She looked approachable. With his charming smile on his face, he walked over. "Um, hullo. You have a nice singing voice, do you mind if I sit here? All the other tables are full." He almost crossed his fingers hoping for a yes.

- - - - Reaching out, she held her cup of coffee and carefully took a small sip of it without burning her mouth. Adjusting her scarf, she looked around the almost busy cafe. It wasn't to busy, but it was certainly in some way crowded. Picking up her bag she rummaged through it, trying to find her cell phone. Once she did she gently tap the screen to see a message from her younger brother asking what she was doing tonight. A small smile formed on her delicate facial features and she tapped onto her phone screen. Locking her phone she dropped it into her bag and placed her bag on the floor by her chair. Looking at her guitar she smiled. She remembered the day she got this, it had been a few years since she had bought it, but it was defiantly worth the trouble! Taking yet another sip from her coffee she strummed at the strings before looking up when she heard an English accent, which was rare around New York.
He was defiantly a handsome boy, and it appeared he was on his break. Glancing around the room she saw one or two tables were free? "Um, hullo. You have a nice singing voice, do you mind if I sit here? All the other tables are full." A smile fell on her features as she was complimented by him on her singing. "Oh hello there." She said in her noticeable British accent. Knowing one or two tables were empty, she wondered why he wished to sit her with her, but of course she didn't mind company, she always enjoyed making a new friend during her lay days. "Why thank you, I don't seem to hear that to often." It wasn't that she was dreadful, she was actually pretty good, but she didn't often sing in public. Well, she tried not to attract attention to herself. "You may sit with me if you like, I'd enjoy the company." She stated and smiled, pulling the chair out for him and sat back with her guitar steady on her lap. "I'm Mimi." She said introducing herself to the boy. words; 357. status; done done doneee. who's involved?; leon park. muse; Akon. what she's wearing; well, this right here!? notes; new years eve tomorrow =O credits; charley made this from ON THE L I S T !? so don't try and steal or remove credit. lyrics from the script; walk away.

stop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective "Thanks" Leon said with a smile. He sat down on the free chair across from Mimi and set his coffee down. An awkward silence followed, even with the foaming of the coffee machines and the sound of change jingling in peoples' wallets. "I'm Mimi." "Leon, nice to meet you, Mimi" Leon said, offering a hand to shake and feeling tremendously self conscious in his uniform.
