* all the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The circular red alarm clock on the black oak table next to her black oak queen-sized bed that had red silk covers and big, fluffy white and red pillows let out a series of loud beeps. A small pale hand with manicured fingernails appeared from within the covers and smacked down on the off button, and the annoying beeping came to a pause. The bed covers were suddenly shoved back and thrown so far away the bed they hit the white wall and fell to the equally as white carpet. Savannah sat up in her bed with a groan and rubbed her eyes, and she then got up out of her bed and went into her own private bathroom that was linked to her bedroom. There she brushed her teeth and had a quick shower, before wrapping a towel around her, drying her hair, and giving it a quick straighten with her new straighteners. Going back into her sanctuary, she ever so slowly got changed into her ripped denim jean shorts, newspaper print tank top, and sheer black and white plaid tank top, with a pair of size five black flats with a grey bow on the front, and her absolute most favourite porcelain heart pendent necklace.
Picking up her black leather armbag and spling it around her shoulder, she quickly left the modern penthouse called "Pirate's Grove" that she shared with her older brother, Osiris. She was very close to her older brother, but lately he'd been avoiding her. She didn't know why, all she knew was that the avoiding had begun the day she woke up in her own bed with her clothes discarded in all sorts of different places around her house. If she'd have thought a little harder and a little more than she had, she would have figured out what had happened that night. Just as she was exiting the hotel she and her brother lived at, she took her phone out of her bag and texted her best friend, Jenny Humphrey, or Little J as she was known as, and asked her to meet her on the steps that morning before school started. Usually Savannah was one to forget to meet Jenny at the steps, letting the Queen B of Constance Billard to have a few minutes with her minions before school, but today she wanted to spend the morning with her best friend. There was no reason why she wanted to, couldn't best friends hang out with having a reason?
The black stretch limo pulled up in front of Savannah just as she came to the curb of the street. A man in a black suit and hat stepped out of the limo immediately and opened up the door for her, and when she got in, she door closed behind her. She sat in the back on the leather couches and picked up a glass and poured herself a glass of champagne. She took a small sip just as the limo started moving, and thankfully she was careful enough to make sure she didn't spill the drink all over her as the car moved. It was only around twenty minutes later did she pull outside the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, where the steps were. The door opened again and she slowly put down her empty glass and got out of the limo. Telling the driver to stay where he was so he could drop her and Jenny off to school, she adjusted her bag on her shoulder and strutted off over to the top of the steps, where she was going to wait for her best friend to arrive. LAY YOUR HEART DOWN, THE END'S IN SIGHT conscience begs for you to do what's right - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Poor little Jenny Humphrey was asleep in her messy bed surrounded by fabrics and papers when her alarm clock rang and she jumped alarmed. She had been working all night in the dress she was making for the Halloween Ball, and annual event who happened to get together a lot of Elite as Serena, Blair and Nate and of course, her best friend Savannah. She went to her mirror and sighed, the bags under her eyes told the world she had a sleepless night and she will have to use a lot of makeup to cover them. She took a shower and then noticed she was running late, hurrying up she dressed with her kilt mini, her white shirt, a red draped cotton-blend cardigan and her trench and ran off the house picking a cookie and a coffee on her way out of the messy apartment where she lived with her father and older brother Penn. She was about to take the bus when he mobile biped. It was Savannah asking for her to meet on the stairs. She was lucky she was heading in that direction already or she would have to ran some more.
Of course it didn’t matter how faster she ran, she could do nothing to make the bus goes faster and she used the time to apply the makeup she hadn’t have time to do at home. Savannah was an Elite girl and sometimes Jenny felt a little shy around her, her lack of money was something she worried about too much sometimes and that was one of those. That was the reason she did her own clothes too, apart from liking it a lot, she couldn’t afford the expensive stylish clothes her best friend wore and in order to be as pretty as her she had to work twice as hard. She combed her hair with her fingers swearing at the bus driver between her perfect white teeth. When she was about to jump on him to make him go faster the bus came to a stop and she went out running toward the stairs to meet her friend. She was a little nervous having this feeling something was about to happen. Something always happened when they were on the stairs, she just has to pray to her luck to the new thing not happening to her, and if it does at least hoping it was something good or at least not that bad.
The stairs were the popular place to gather before school and all the cool kids used it to gossip and hang out. Most of the most important break ups, gossips and such happened there. She smiled when she saw Savannah already there waiting for her, she was breathless at the time she got there and sat without even saying hello to catch her breathe again. Who would say you can run that fast with the red pumps she was wearing? She looked up to her friend and smiled at her when she was sure she could talk without dying. I came running all the way from home. she explained to her friend Good morning. How are you? Jenny’s voice was tired and sleepy even running she hadn’t managed to wake up all the way, she gulped her coffee down hoping caffeine would do the work. Some people said they had troubles with coffee, well, she had troubles without it, she wasn’t human without her coffee, she needed it to work in the mornings and being able to handle all the hours ahead in school and all the work as designer later and working on her own dress. Sometimes she thought it was too much but the benefits worth all the trouble even at expense of her own health sometimes. And don’t even think of telling me I look like hell. She said warning Savannah with a wicked smile I already know that.

* all the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jenny had been one of the first people that she had met when first coming to New York, to the Upper East Side. Serena Van Der Woodsen had been the absolute first person she had met, and then Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass, but then Jenny had been after those three elite people. The four were all been friends, Serena had introduced her to all three of them. Serena, Chuck, Blair and Jenny had them later introduced herto Nathaniel Archibald and Daniel Humphrey, Jenny's older brother. In return she'd introduced them to her older brother Osiris, though they didn't seem very taken with him like they had with her. Later she introduced the lot to Lara, her little sister, and they'd liked her well enough. Savannah was very good friends with all six of them now, even though Dan and Chuck didn't actually get on very well because of some... personal problems.
The person that she hung out with the most though, was Jenny. They'd instantly become best friends after the second encounter, having liked all of the same things, and were usually seen together at most times, except for in the mornings when Jenny hung out on the steps she was currently at, with her stupid, brain dead minions who had absolutely bullshit to do but follow, follow, follow, bitch, bitch, bitch. They were all clones of each other, they were all like bloody robots! Savannah disliked each and every one of them, prefering her own minions, who were all carefree and independent, to Jenny's dull, ughhh ones. It didn't matter though, about how awesome each other's minions were, because they were still BFFL's, even though Jenny's dumbass minions were trying to change that very well-known fact. Nothing was going to change their friendship though.
It didn't take that long for Jenny to arrive at the steps. She was dropped off by the bus and came running up to meet her in one of the many's outfits that she'd designed all by herself. She didn't actually look that great, Savannah had to admit, she kind of looked a bit of a mess. Of course there was a reason to that though, and that was because Jenny spent half her night designing her own clothes, since she couldn't buy from stores because her family didn't have much money, and last night she'd been designing a dress that she was going to wear to the annual Halloween Ball that they went to every year, along with Serena, Blair, Chuck, and Nate (Dan didn't like ball's very much), and Savannah also always invited her other best friend Jack, who didn't know the others very well, that she knew of, along with them. The group always had so much fun there.
Savannah returned Jenny's smile and didn't even have to ask Jenny to sit down because she was in the space next to her before she could even say hello. It didn't phase her in the slightest when her best friend didn't say hey to her, she knew that she was tired and out of breath and needed to gain all of her energy back by just sitting and breathing. Her usual cheeky grin slipped onto her face and she dropped her armbag to the step in front of her, hoping that the presence of her bag being on that step would stop one of Jenny's minions from coming. "Hello to you, too," she said cheekily, "I'm fine, thank you, though I can tell that you aren't." She watched as Jenny sipped on her coffee. She herself wasn't a big coffee fan, she was more of a cappuchino girl. Silently she wished that she'd bought a cappuchino on her way to the steps. "I wasn't going to tell you you look like hell, actually... I was just thinking it." Jenny never got upset when Savannah said something similiar to that, they always teased each other. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ! savannah's speaking. savannah's thinking. savannah's flashbacks. others' speaking.[/ul] * the pen is mightier than the sword six two four words* such stuff as dreams are made on quotes from william shakespeare* get thee to a nunnery! jenny humphrey is tagged* a dish fit for the gods i'm wearing this * what's in a name? template made by LAURIE?! of CAUTION 2.0[/blockquote]

LAY YOUR HEART DOWN, THE END'S IN SIGHT conscience begs for you to do what's right - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She shot Savannah a dirty look and then smiled. I slept one hour then had to run to come so sure I'm a mess. She said and looked to her minions a little away from her. She used to go to the stairs with them talking about the later gossips and such, having he own minions was... amazing and everything she had wanted all her life. She waved to them but didn't call them to come, she knew Savannah didn't like them much so they never crossed her path. The reason was Savannah thought her minions were brainless and dependent which was true but that was the reason they were her minions, if she got someone who actually think then they'll try to get over her. That way it was easier to control them. The dress is almost finished thanks to a sleepless night and amazing fingers of Jenny Humphrey. She had been working so hard for the dress it was actually amazing now.
I need some concealing and some makeup and I needed coffee. She tried to hide a yawn, she was going to fell asleep in class today if the coffee wasn't working. It helped a bit to came running all the way but still I'm sleepy. She was so tired she couldn't even think of something to say, she only wanted t go and sleep in her bed now with her dress and finished and everything done. How's everything going with your brother? Jenny knew Savannah had sometimes problems with her brother and at home and now was one of those times, Savannah had told her brother was avoiding her and she didn't know why, but she hadn't give her much detail.
She fought with Dan once in a while so she could understand what was going in Savannah's head, except because she looked quite worried about something, something she hadn't told her because she wasn't ready to. You know, Dan and me fight from time to time and then make up. She sipped from her coffee again and the looked around. That year she was going to force Dan to go to the party with her and they will have a fight about it because dan hated parties like that though he was getting used to them by now. Osiris was a strange guy, though Jenny hadn't ny problems to get along with him there was always something about his ways that stranged her but still she couldn't make a reason of why he will avoid Savannah. Is he still not talking to you?

* all the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Savannah just smiled innocently when Jenny shot her a dirty look, but then that tuned into a full blown grin when her bst friend turned from glaring to smiling at her. Shenever took anything she said as an insult; she'd probably laugh if Savannah called her an ugly bitch, she wouldn't even care! That's just how cool Jenny was all the time. "Next time, then, hun," she laughed, go to sleep earlier!" Jenny was like a work-o-holic, everyone who knew her knew that. She dared not sleep when she was working on a project, she always had to get it finished first. Looking over to see who Jenny was waving to, she saw Little J's minions, and they didn't look very happy. In fact, they were glaring at her. A smirk on her face, she gave them a sarcastic wave, before turning back to Jenny. Don't forget, J, you still have to make my dress." A few of her outside-of-the-circle friends said she might as well just buy an already made designer dress from the store, but she wanted one designed especially for her by her amazing best friend.
She just nodded as Jenny spoke, not knowing how to reply. I pity you," is all she said. She never had trouble getting to places, she was always an early riser, even though she was not much of a morning person, and she was quick to get ready in the mornings. She always knew what to wear, always knew what make up to put on, always knew what way she should style her hair; she always planned the next days outfit before she went to sleep. Besides, having her own personal driver raised her chance of being on time, since she didn't have to wait for the bus or anything. "Oh, things are going spiffingly," Savannah said sarcastically, and bit down on her lip, worried. She wished she knew why Osiris was avoiding her every day, she didn't know what she'd done wrong. Perhaps she'd done something that she couldn't remember? Maybe he'd found out about the drugs, the alcohol, and all of the sex? Family finding about things like that was never a good idea. She just hoped whatever she'd done hadn't been such a bad thing...
A sigh passed her lips. Jenny and Dan's petty little fight was nothing like she and Osiris were going through. It truly seemed like the pair were going to be fighting forever, like they were never going to work out whatever the hell was causing him to avoid her like he was. If she didn't find out what was wrong, if they didn't make up soon, she knew she was going to crack, she could never bare fueding with her older brother, not even was she was little. "Thanks for trying, J, but I honestly don't think things are going to be quite as simple as you and Dan.," she sighed, and rested her chin on her hand, gazing sadly at the step in front of her. "Yes, he's still ignoring me, he's always ignoring me," she said, and her worried frown turned to an annoyed glare. "Ever since this one day he's been avoiding me, and I just wish I knew why." That was one day was the day she'd awoken in her bed, completely naked, with the biggest hangover in the century of hangovers. Maybe that day had something to do with what was going on? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ! savannah's speaking. savannah's thinking. savannah's flashbacks. others' speaking.[/ul] * the pen is mightier than the sword five seven four words* such stuff as dreams are made on quotes from william shakespeare* get thee to a nunnery! jenny humphrey is tagged* a dish fit for the gods i'm wearing this * what's in a name? template made by LAURIE?! of CAUTION 2.0[/blockquote]

LAY YOUR HEART DOWN, THE END'S IN SIGHT conscience begs for you to do what's right - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If another girl had said that to her, Jenny would have high-fived her face the same second but coming from Savvy she never took it personal. Jenny was always worried about the way she looked, trying to be worth of the title she was wearing and it was taking most of her time. Sleepless nights making clothes so she would look as amazing as the rest of the girls in the school so he minions will have something to copy and she would be as perfect as everyone thought she was. Inside Jenny was as insecure as everyone. Of course all of that was worth it, she loved to make her own clothes and she was wishing to be as good as her idols one day. She will have to work extra hard and extra hours to make the dress for her friend Savannah, whatever she was going to wear at the dance everyone will look at it and copy the style so it was great pressure for her. I can’t and of course I have to make your dress so I have to work extra long hours to make it just perfect.
Her friend had great faith on her which even added more pressure but that only made Jenny even more eager to get on it. I know I’m talking alien to you. She laughed. Her friend was just like every other Upper East Sider; they lived near school, had their private chauffeur, limousines, and never had problems with clothes or those mundane things she had to do. Jenny had to grab the bus, go from the Bronx to the Upper East Side and all of that in time, getting up super early to be ready for the morning classes, studying extra hard because his father hadn’t the money to pay for more school or getting her kicked out. When Savannah said her brother was still avoiding her, Jenny bit down her lip. She had been thinking of the matter on her own and the only conclusion she had come with was something she was sure her friend wouldn’t want to hear. Hadn’t you try to remember? Or put pieces together because...
She was debating between telling her or not, of course things weren’t as easy as it was between her and Dan but that was because Jenny never… slept with her own brother or something like that. Savannah had told her all she could remember from that day, her clothes discarded all over her room, her brother vanished and her completely naked. If they both were as drunk as Savvy had told her she was then the only answer was that. I’m sure you don’t want to hear this but... she looked at her friend, not knowing how to phrase her thoughts, there was no easy way to say that, there was no way to tell her friend she had slept with her brother and maybe she was wrong but it was the only thing she could think of. There is no other way to say this. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. She finally decided to go straight for it; she took a deep breath before telling the bomb. Savvy, I think you slept with your brother. It was something hard to get but what will she say? Of course he friend will say no the same second but what other thing it could be? He had ignored her so much and she didn’t think Osiris had ever heard about all those things Savannah has the bad habit to do, but if he did, she doubted he will even care.

* all the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "It's going to look fabulous, Jenny, knowing you and your talented fingers," Savannah said, with a grin. She couldn't wait to see what the dress would look like when it was finished, she only knew a little of its detail, which she's chosen herself. It would hopefully be made of black silk, the top half would be a corset with brown bows on the back, and the bottom half would be a puffy, ruffled skirt, with brown netting underneath, kind of like a tutu. Hopefully it would look slightly victorian because she wanted to be a pirate, she wanted to wear her annual halloween pirate hat that she usually wore to the annual halloween ball - she always wore it with a different dress, of course! She couldn't wait for the ball to come up, it was going to be so exciting and fun!
In all honesty, she always felt awkward talking about life in the Upper East side when she knew Jenny didn't live like her. Her best friend lived in Brooklyn, she was middleclass, she wasn't very rich so she had to make her own clothes, and she always had to take the bus everywhere. Unlike her, Savannah was elite, she had all the money in the world, she took the limo everywhere, went on holidays regularly, could buy a whole country, nevermind a whole shop, and was so exclusive she was aloud to go anywhere. "One day, Jen, you'll be just as rich and as famous as I am, what with all tho super stylish clothes you make single-handedly." This was true; she just knew that Jenny would be a rich and famous fashion designer in the future! There was no doubt about it.
Of course she'd tried to remember countless time what had happened between her and her brother, but no matter how many times she tried to put the pieces together, nothing ever came to her, no memories, no explanation. She knew of no reason why Osiris would want to avoid her like she was a new brand of plague. She stayed silent, not because she was unsure of what to say, but because she was once again trying to puzzle the pieces together. Again she came up with nothing. No matter how good she was at solving things, this problem seemed unsolvable. At what Jenny said next, Savannah snapped around, her red hair whipping around her face, and she stared at Jenny in disbelief. "What?! How in the name of fuck did you come up with that?!" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ! savannah's speaking. savannah's thinking. savannah's flashbacks. others' speaking.[/ul] * the pen is mightier than the sword four two two words* such stuff as dreams are made on quotes from william shakespeare* get thee to a nunnery! jenny humphrey is tagged* a dish fit for the gods i'm wearing this * what's in a name? template made by LAURIE?! of CAUTION 2.0[/blockquote]

LAY YOUR HEART DOWN, THE END'S IN SIGHT conscience begs for you to do what's right - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jenny had a lot of confidence in her dresses because she did everything she had in her hand to make the dress look perfect, because she worked as hard as she could and looked every little detail even if they weren’t supposed to be seen. Of course she knew the dress was going to look perfect but sometimes it made her feel bad that all the work she was doing wasn’t going to get her what she wanted or at least not when she wanted it. Savannah didn’t have to think too hard of what she was going to do in her future because she was rich. She didn’t have to worry about her clothes or if she had enough money to pay things. I just need to give the dress the final touch, its amazing. It was just as she wanted the dress to be and Jenny was sure she will give the dress a very good use and of course, the fact that she was wearing the dress to the Halloween ball was going to have great influence on her work.
Of course Jenny knew how Savvy was going to say and that didn’t help to get confidence because even if her friend had such faith on her Jenny knew the road to be the best designer ever was difficult. You say so... But you know I’m playing my future here and it’s not as easy as you made it seem.She took another sip of her coffee and focused on a more important topic. Since Savvy had told her everything about her bother ignoring her and what she remembered of that night, Jenny had been thinking about what could have happened and the only conclusion she had reached was that. Of course if she were on Savvy’s place she would have reacted same way if she came to the conclusion she had slept with Dan which was totally impossible, but she knew Savvy and she knew her brother, not as much but still that was a possibility. Your clothes discarded around the room, you naked, you both drunk and you high… Jenny sipped from her coffee again, lowered her voice knowing around her were a lot of people who could tell Gossip Girl what they were talking about and that would be… a disaster. I know it’s hard but come on Savannah, it’s a possibility and you know that.
Savannah was reasonable and taking into account everything it was the only thing she had come off. Savannah was very capable of having sex with her brother, much more if she was totally out of it. If Osiris could remember what happened then that would explain why he was avoiding her, it had been a very big mistake and the way he had found of fixing it was avoiding her. Of course something like that… how was she expected to react and how he was expected to act, she could act as if she didn’t know what had happened but that was impossible now that both of them knew. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know but it was the only explanation I found, maybe he found something about your drug problem but I doubt he would care about that. Knowing Osiris, he wouldn’t care at all about that, of course he would be angry but he would have shouted at her and get the shit out of her but not avoid her for months like the plague. Well… he will care, but he wouldn’t avoid you he would… I don’t know, shout at you and everything?

* all the world's a stage,
and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Savannah grinned at Jenny and said, "I bet." Really, that's all she needed to say in the first place; Jenny knew her designs were absolutely stunning! Honestly, there was no doubt about it that the dress was going to look amazing. Every piece of clothing Jenny designed was so fabulous. It was like she had magic fingers! Savannah always wore her best friends clothes to social events, like big parties, usually the reason being she'd promised to help promote the clothes into the world of fashion -- though mostly it was because the clothes always looked so great. If Jenny ever stopped designing, she was going to cut off all of her long blonde hair and feed all of her fingers to the sharks.
She didn't bother commenting on what Jenny said next. It was obvious that she just wanted to end the conversation so they could hurry up and get onto more important topics - like her brothers little phase of avoiding her all of the time, for a reason that was invisible to her. "I never thought of it like that before..." she said quietly, hoping that wasn't what had really happened - her relationship with her brother was one of the only things in life that kept her going; along with Jenny's great advice, Azure's constant caring, and Jack's "study" habits. "I guess that could be a possibility." It did make sense in a twisted way, and there was no other reason she could come up with.
All of the signs were there, all of the signs like bright lights shining in front of her eyes, like they were telling her it was the truth, that that was what happened. What, with clothes discarded around the penthouse, both with the biggest hangovers ever in the morning, and him avoiding her all of a sudden for no reason? Who wouldn't think that she had slept with her brother? "No, he wouldn't give a shit about the drugs," Savannah said, "After all... his history with drugs is horrific, worse than mine, I reckon." Jenny was right. There was no other explanation. Him finding out about the drugs wasn't an option because he'd taken a shitload of drugs before, too. So was she right? LAY YOUR HEART DOWN, THE END'S IN SIGHT conscience begs for you to do what's right - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She knew Savannah wanted to move from topic but the next topic they had planned wasn’t the best either, not with the idea Jenny had come in her mind. She had give to the situation a lot of thought because she had seen Savannah very worried about what was going on between Osiris and her and after discarding all the possibilities, which weren’t much, she had come up with them sleeping together, which was as horrible as any possibility can be. But Jenny was so used to her friend and her strange way of doing things that she wasn’t even surprised and after the first shock of realizing her best friend had slept with her brother she found herself trying to find a way to make her not feel so bad with the idea. She had a hard time with the images of her and Dan doing the same and only because it was the only example near, she would never ever sleep with Dan, not even if the world was destroyed and the only ones on the earth were them. Humanity can go to hell as far as she was concerned.
But Savannah was different and Jenny had read on Gossip Girl blog, along with almost everyone on New York, that her friend had been sleeping with Jack and Azure at the same time. Was that such a crazy possibility after knowing what her friend was capable of sober? Then drunk there were no limits for her, plus she was high too and Osiris was drunk and possibly high too. What her friend had with drugs was a relationship she would never understand, and she had tried to get her out of that shit, but with the family she had it was impossible for her to do nothing more than warn her to be careful. Of course Osiris wouldn’t care about her taking drugs when he had tried all of the drugs possible on the market. I would be surprised I he started to care now about the drugs… it’s like… not a secret anymore… It was all over Gossip Girl blog, the fact that she had been seen with the druggie twins more than once, that they had a very close friendship. If you get with them, then you get with drugs, it was impossible to get one out of the other.
Besides, knowing you both I’m sure that’s definitely a possibility and now you have a very good reason to face him. Jenny didn’t want to tell her friend that id she really wanted to get Osiris to talk she would have found the way. It was so obvious that Savannah was hiding from him to, maybe because the possibility of something getting between them scared her and she didn’t want to know what it was. But it was there, the fact that she had been hiding herself behind the fact that Osiris had been avoiding her. When Dan tried to do that, Jenny would make sure to show up at every place her brother could be, and she would stalk him until he was so tired he would have to talk with her again and Savannah wasn’t one of shutting her mouth when she wanted something or just sit and wait to make it happen. If she was waiting for Osiris to go and talk to her then she was waiting in vain because it was pretty obvious he didn’t have the intentions of doing that anytime soon.
